   Finder – A Student-Exclusive Dating Experience

   Finder is a mobile dating application designed specifically for college students. The platform helps users discover meaningful relationships, friendships, and social connections through verified student profiles, smart matching, and campus-based discovery.

   • Challenge — Many dating apps are designed for a broad audience, making it difficult for college students to find people with similar lifestyles, schedules, and interests. The challenge was to create a safe and engaging platform that encourages authentic interactions while maintaining a simple and intuitive user experience.
   • Approach — I conducted competitor research on existing dating platforms, analyzed student behavior patterns, and mapped the complete user journey. The design focused on streamlined onboarding, student verification, personalized matching, and a clean messaging experience. Wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes were created to ensure a seamless and engaging user flow.
   • Outcome — The final design delivered a modern and user-friendly dating experience tailored to campus life. The platform simplified the process of discovering compatible matches, increased trust through verified profiles, and provided students with a dedicated space to build meaningful connections.

   Finder — Building Meaningful Student Connections

   Finder is a mobile dating platform designed exclusively for college students, helping them discover compatible matches, expand their social circles, and form meaningful relationships within a trusted campus environment.

   • Challenge — College students often face difficulties meeting new people outside their existing friend groups and academic circles. Traditional dating apps can feel overwhelming, impersonal, and lack relevance to student life. The challenge was to design a platform that fosters genuine interactions while maintaining safety, trust, and ease of use.
   • Approach — The design process began with user research to understand student expectations, dating behaviors, and common frustrations with existing platforms. Based on these insights, I designed a student-focused experience featuring verified campus profiles, interest-based matching, intuitive profile creation, and frictionless messaging. Special attention was given to reducing cognitive load and creating a welcoming onboarding experience.
   • Outcome — The final product delivers a streamlined and engaging dating experience tailored to student needs. By focusing on trust, compatibility, and simplicity, the platform encourages authentic interactions and helps students build meaningful relationships within their campus communities.
